I.T.S. is an improvisational fusion dance format created by Amy Sigil. ITS is performed by a group of dancers consisting of one of more leaders and followers. The dance relies on a shared vocabulary of movements, each initiated by the leader using a distinct cue movement. After the cue, a short choreographed movement sequence, or combo, is performed by the group. The leader chooses the combo based on their interpretation of the music, which is often done spontaneously during the performance. The result is a dance that appears choreographed, but is in fact structured improvisation. 

Yes! All the lessons will be accessible to you when you purchase the course. You can take your own pace for each lesson. We do have community forums for questions and community. Live weekly classes to connect, and you can message me anytime for questions or concerns. Happy dancing!

Welcome to the family! Once you have completed the Level 1 you are encouraged to practice either alone or with other I.T.S. movers. You can also use this content for performance or choreography. You are welcome to share with your friends or movers you usually play with. The only constraint you have is that you are not allowed to teach this information publicly for money until you are a Certified I.T.S. Teacher. If you have any questions about teaching opportunities that come up for you, just send me an email!

Yes! You can become an I.T.S. Certified Teacher! The Teachers program is a one on one with Amy Sigil. We go through content and teaching style, lesson by lesson. Message me after you have completed your Level 1 for more details.
