Dahlia was immersed from an early age in a rich environment of music and dance. Born in the Pacific Northwest, her lifelong dedication to the arts encompasses an extensive study of music, vocal performance, a variety of instruments, and diverse dance forms. In 1993, when she discovered Middle Eastern dances, Dahlia quickly fell in love with the nuances of Egyptian music and dance styles. Years of practice established her as both a revered instructor and an acclaimed performer, competitor and choreographer, recognized with multiple awards.
Currently, Dahlia prefers to channel her artistic expressions into a broader mission of liberation and healing, while also pursuing certification as a death doula. For her Redding Spotlight performance, she will share an array of styles that speak to The Heart.
